Holland finishes in runner-up spot at Farmer City
Chase Holland took on the quarter-mile Farmer City (Illinois) Raceway on Friday evening and posted a strong second-place result in his Wehrs Machine & Racing Products No. 45 Modified.
Holland set overall quick time in DIRTcar UMP Modified qualifying, then went on to finish second in his heat race. He began the 20-lap A-Main from the second spot and came home as runner-up, 1.257 seconds behind Kyle Hammer. Third place went to Zac Oedewaldt, with Alan Stipp and Damian Kiefer finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
Holland had also planned to race at Fairbury (Illinois) Speedway on Saturday, but the event was rained out.
