Chase Holland turns in trio of top-10 finishes in Illinois and Indiana
From Friday through Sunday, another DIRTcar UMP Modified swing through the Midwest was on the schedule for Chase Holland and his Champion Commercial HVAC No. 45 team. Along the way, Holland reached 42 top-five finishes and 56 top-10 results thus far in the 2025 season.
On Friday, Holland opened his racing slate with a stop at Farmer City (Illinois) Raceway. After qualifying with the second-quickest time on the quarter-mile oval, he won his heat race from the pole. He went on to both start and finish second in the 20-lap feature, taking the checkered flag 1.935 seconds behind Carson Friedman. Zac Oedewaldt, Lyndon Whitfill and Jonah Buyno completed the top five.
Saturday saw Holland move on to Indiana, where he competed in an 18-car DIRTcar UMP Modified field in the Buckeye Bob 33 at Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway. Holland claimed the quickest time in qualifying on the 5/16-mile track and won both his heat and the dash from the pole. He also started the 33-lap feature from the top spot and ultimately finished eighth.
The next night, Holland closed out his weekend with a return to Illinois as he took on the Modified division as part of Season Championship Night at the quarter-mile Quincy Raceways. He grabbed third in his heat race, then started fifth and finished fourth in the 20-lap A-Main. He followed Justin Reed, Dave Wietholder and Kenny Wallace across the line, while Rick Conoyer took fifth.
