Victories at Brownstown Bullring and Peoria Speedway for Holland
Less than a week after he took the checkered flag at Lincoln (Illinois) Speedway, Chase Holland grabbed two more victories in the state of Illinois on Friday and Saturday to stretch his Modified win streak to three in a row.
On Friday evening, Holland raced among 16 DIRTcar UMP Modified competitors at the quarter-mile Brownstown Bullring. He drove his WEST Trucking No. 45 machine from fifth to first in his heat race, then started second in the 20-lap feature. He grabbed the lead on the first circuit and wired the field, taking the victory 0.308 seconds ahead of Josh Harris. Third place went to Rick Salter, with Treb Jacoby fourth and Brian Diveley fifth.
The next night, Holland traveled to Peoria Speedway to compete in the 21-car Gary Cook Jr. Memorial paying $2,064 to the victor. He qualified with the fifth-quickest time on the quarter-mile oval and again won his heat. Holland rolled off from the second spot in the 25-lap Modified A-Main and took over the lead on lap 8. He fended off numerous challenges as he showed the way for the remainder of the race to park in victory lane for the second night in a row. Trevor Neville claimed the runner-up spot, followed by Steven Brooks, Charles Hess and Ray Bollinger.
Holland’s pair of wins over the weekend represented his eighth and ninth feature triumphs of 2025.
