Chase Holland takes on Gateway Dirt Nationals

On the first weekend in December, Chase Holland raced in a 63-car Modified field at St. Louis’ The Dome at America’s Center. During the ninth annual Gateway Dirt Nationals, he turned in his best performance of the event on his Thursday prelim night.

To kick off Thursday, Holland steered his No. 45 Modified to the 10th-quickest time in qualifying on the 1/5-mile indoor track. After grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race, he started 14th in the $5,000-to-win A-Main. He also finished 14th in the 20-lapper.

Saturday saw Holland start sixth in his qualifier and bring home a 12th-place result with a DNF. As a result, his weekend ended before the 30-lap, $30,000-to-win finale.

In a busy 2025 campaign, Holland claimed 18 feature wins, 46 top-five finishes and 63 top-10 results.
